Join us for our 2nd GB Alumni Re-Connect event, leading up to GB’s Centennial in 2026. As with last year’s event, this will be a great opportunity to re-connect with former classmates and our old school.
Schedule at a Glance:
12:00 Set-up (Volunteers appreciated!)
1:00 Doors open/Sign-in/Informal mixer in Lunchroom
1:30-3:30
– (Every 10-15 mins) School tours led by current students
– (On the half hour) Break-out sessions – topics listed + free rooms can be booked by classes/topics
1:30-2:00:
– Class ’77 40th Anniversary Re-Connect
2:00-2:30
– “Jock Talk” – Remembering Panther Sports & Athletics (the Teams, Big Games, Coaches, Phys Ed, …)
2:30-3:00
– “To GB or not to GB” – Remembering the Humanities (English, Soc Studies, Music, the Plays, …)
3:00-3:30
-“Geeks Speak” – Remembering Science & Math (our teachers, Comp Sci, Reach for the Top, …)
3:45-4:30 GB-Themed Reach for the Top game
4:30-5:00 Prize draw/Goodbye’s
5:00 Clean-up (Volunteers appreciated!)
Refreshments: Pot luck style – if you can bring a package of cookies or a beverage (juice/water/pop) or some paper plates, napkins, etc. that will be great!
Dress code: Super casual – wear what you’d normally on a Saturday – if you have anything purple and/or gold, please wear it to show your Panther Pride!
Cost: $5 donation/alumni, guests/family free. Any funds left after covering our costs (school rental, refreshments, website) will be donated to GB for the Greenspace project.
Volunteers to help out most welcome!
Enter at the Borrowman entrance. Please note this is an alcohol-, tobacco-, and drug-free event – please respect the school as we are visitors returning to our school.
